Royal Academy of Art 皇家美术学院，简称RAA 坐落在伦敦市中心的英国皇家美术学院 ，自从 1768 年成立以来迄今已有 237年，不仅历史悠久而且人才辈出，为培育世界绘画、雕刻、建筑艺术英才做出了巨大贡献。该校每年举行优秀学生及艺术家作品展，也吸引了国内外艺术爱好者的瞩目。
皇家美术学院现任院长莫里斯考克利尔教授，在学院办公室接受'留学英国'专访时说，皇家美术学院开设为期三年的硕士课程，有意申请的国内外学生必须具备绘画、雕刻、数码印刷或摄影专业的学士学位。 该校是英国提供这些领域三年进修课程唯一的艺术学院。

The Royal Academy of Arts (RA, traditionally written as R.A.) is an art institution based in Burlington House on Piccadilly in London. It has a unique position as an independent, privately funded institution led by eminent artists and architects; its purpose is to promote the creation, enjoyment and appreciation of the visual arts through exhibitions, education and debate.

Pezo von Ellrichshausen 工作室作品（成立于2002，Concepcion in Chile)主创建筑师为Mauricio Pezo
和 Sofia von Ellrichshausen.

Pezo von Ellrichshausen  was established in 2002 in Concepcion in Chileby Mauricio Pezo
bron 1973 in Angol,CHile) and Sofia von Ellrichshausen(bron 1976 in Bariloche ,Argentina).

Grafton Architects 公司建筑装置作品，该建筑公司成立于1978年，由Yvonne Farrell 和Shelley McNamara 两名女士建立，她们的作品通常带有几何性的理性分析，并认为建筑是“新几何”，主张视觉性的建筑并不只限制于一个简单的物体，同时也是成长、发展物理、社会、文化景观庞大网络的一部分。

Grafton Architects  was set up in 1978 by Yvonne Farrell(bron 1951 in Tullamore,Ireland) and  Shelley McNamara (bron 1952 in Lisdoonvama, Ireland).
Often creating geological analogies for their work ,Farrell and McNamara talk about architecture as a "new geography",seeing bulidings not as isolated bojects but as part
of a wider network that grows out of and contributes to the physical, social,and culture  landscape.

著名意大利建筑师伦佐•皮亚诺将为伦敦人从Covent Garden到牛津街提供一种提亮生活的体验。Centre Point楼就是这样一座“欢乐动感”的建筑。皮亚诺采用了20多种棱面来打造Central Saint Giles，形成了红、黄、绿、橙色的覆层。该项目的开发商是Legal & General地产公司和三菱地产公司。

     在这座新地标上，色彩造就的动感立面第一眼看来与这块长久被忽略的角落形成极大反差。但是皮亚诺认为应该看得更远。他说：“漂亮的色彩是城市的一部分，能够给人以突然一亮的感觉。城市不应该是乏味或重复的。城市之所以美丽是因为它们充满惊喜。色彩的运用就是一种令人愉悦的惊喜。”

Central Saint Giles is a mixeduse development in central London. Built at a cost of £450 million and completed in May 2010, it was designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano and is his first work in the UK.The development consists of two buildings of up to 15 storeys in height, arranged around a public courtyard lined with shops and restaurants. It is chiefly notable for its façades, covered with 134,000 glazed tiles in vivid shades of green, orange, lime and yellow. It has attracted a number of highprofile tenants including NBCUniversal, MindShare and Google.

CitizenM Hotels have opened a new location of their distinctive accomodations designed by
Concrete Architectural Associates. The new 192room citizenM hotel is their first property in London.the
interior design of citizenM influenced by new aesthetics，designing as a “amusement park”.
Guests can have the delighted experience with elegant art and tranquil atmosphere

特拉法尔加广场Trafalgar Square

英国伦敦著名广场，坐落在伦敦市中心，东面是伦敦城，北接伦敦的闹市索荷区，南邻白厅大街，西南不远是王宫，适中的地理位置和美丽的场建筑，使它成为伦敦的名胜之一。特拉法尔加广场是为纪念著名的特拉法尔加港海战而修建的，广场中央耸立着英国海军名将纳尔逊的纪念碑和铜像。
它不仅吸引了众多的游客，也是伦敦政治、文化活动的中心。每年节日夜晚广场上都会有伦敦市民在这里狂欢。特拉法尔加广场也叫“鸽子广场”，其鸽子之多可与威尼斯的圣马可广场（圣马可广场(Plazza San Marco) 又称威尼斯中心广场）相比。在纳尔逊圆柱型纪念碑四周，鸽子成群，成为广场一景。

Trafalgar Square, the largest square in London, is often considered the heart of the city. Ever since the Middle Ages, this area has been a central meeting place. In the middle of the square stands a tall column honoring admiral Nelson.
From the thirteenth century on the area was the site of the King's Royal Hawks and later the Royal Mews. In 1812 the Prince Regent - who would later become King George IV - asked architect John Nash to redevelop the area. After much delay work finally started in 1830. Nash had the terrain cleared but he died before his plans were realized and works were halted.
The completion of the National Gallery in 1838 on the north side of the square reignited interest in its redevelopment. A new design by architect Charles Barry (best known for his Houses of Parliament), which consisted of two levels separated by a monumental flight of stairs was approved and construction started in 1840. Five years later the square was finally completed.

白金汉宫  Buckingham Palace
白金汉宫(Buckingham Palace）英国的王宫。建造在威斯敏斯特城内，位于伦敦詹姆士公园（St. James’ Park）的西边，1703年为白金汉公爵所建而得名，最早称白金汉屋，意思是“他人的家”。这是19世纪前期的豪华式建筑风格，庞大的规模甚至比华丽的外表更加引人注目。
1761年，乔治三世购得并加以扩建。在此之前曾一度做过帝国纪念堂、美术陈列馆、办公厅和藏金库。由白金汉屋转变为白金汉宫的工作由乔治四世和他所器重的建筑师约翰·纳什（John Nash）完成。其中维多利亚女王像上的金色天使，代表皇室希望能再创造维多利亚时代的光辉，若皇宫正上方飘扬着英国皇帝旗帜，则表示女王仍在宫中。

Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of Britain's sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the Monarch.

Although in use for the many official events and receptions held by The Queen, the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace are open to visitors every year.Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms. These include 19 State rooms, 52 Royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices and 78 bathrooms. In measurements, the building is 108 metres long across the front, 120 metres deep (including the central quadrangle) and 24 metres high.

The Palace is very much a working building and the centrepiece of Britain's constitutional monarchy. It houses the offices of those who support the day-to-day activities and duties of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh and their immediate family.
